The LCD uses the V2oIP (Video and Voice over Internet Protocols) communication system and is compatble to all other VoIP systems and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) controls. The LCD screen has a 5Mp camera mounted on top of it with a noice cancelling microphone. H.264 codec is used for compressing the video for confrencing. At $1,999 the LCD is quite costly. For those who can justify this investment as a cost cutting measure to expencive employee trips, the LCD would be availabe this fall.
