Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness comes to US with concierge service
December 18th, 2009 by Annkur

The world’s first see-through LCD screen phone has started shipping to eager beavers residing in the US. The Xperia Pureness was first launched in the UK for £530. When compared to the UK pricing, the handset is slightly overprised in the US, which is available for $990. But, for the extra money you pay in the US, the phone comes with an added concierge service. This service will allow access to lifestyle requests, such as finding details on specific social hotspots and events that might be happening anywhere in the world.
Apart from its see-through screen and the concierge service, the Xperia Pureness doesn’t really has much more to offer. Its other features include quad band GSM network support, music playback, an integrated FM tuner and Bluetooth support. This means that users will have to shell out $990 for a handset without a touchscreen, GPS, camera, WiFi and the like.
