Sony Launches New Projector Handycam the HDR PJ50 In India

Sony has brought is newest Projector Handycam, the HDR PJ50 to India. The unique thing about this product is the built in projection feature that it offers. This projector can display images up to 60-inches onto a wall in a dark room. The optimum projection distance being 3 meters, Sony adds that the device will not require any additional wires, cables or require a computer.

If that was not all, it also comes with powerful stereo speakers so that you can shoot your videos and almost immediately display it to your friends using the projector even if you do not have a PC around.
Coming to its more camcorder like features, it can capture videos in full HD. It gets 12x Optical zoom so you won’t miss out on any action even if you are way back in the audience or are too far from the center of an event. Even if that wasn’t enough, you can use the additional 17x Extended Zoom, with the video quality remaining intact. The device can also capture quality photographs with its 7.1 megapixel camera sensor.

It has a high quality sound recording circuitry that features Advanced Wind Noise Reduction, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and clear phase stereo speakers to produce true-to-life sound. There is also Sony’s proprietary SteadyShot technology that smoothens out things even if you have wobbly, shaky hands.

The HDR PJ50 is now on sale in the country and has been priced at Rs. 59,990.
