Swype comes to OMNIA II, competes with iPhone’s onscreen QWERTY
November 25th, 2009 by Annkur

Swype is the new QWERTY concept for onscreen typing on a mobile device. In what promises to be a revolutionary method to input text after the original T9 (incidentally by the same inventor). The online videos of Swype in action looks rad and I am waiting to get my hands on the Samsung Omnia II which would be the first device to be loaded with Swype technology.
Android users need not be disappointed, Swype for Android will also be available in early 2010. And to entice you further (apart from the original video demoing Swype) here is a video comparison of Swype vs the iPhone qwerty. Of course I can type a lot faster than what that guy (gal?) on the video below does, but this seriously builds up the hype before the janta gets hands on with Swype. So will Swype live up to the hype?
