If there is one winner that Microsoft has rolled out in the handheld space, its the Zune HD. Going live against the iPod touch 3G last year, the Zune HD did do a fair enough job. The design & UI were impressive and multitouch came in just on time. Now there is one social networking player who has leveraged the smartphone boom to its advantage pretty well and thats Facebook. Right form the impressive iPhone app to the Palm WebOS, they have taken the trouble to optimize FB for mobile more than anyone else. And it comes as little surprise to us that they have now gone live with the Facebook app on Zune HD. Zune HD users, do let us know whats your opinion on the same!

After investing about $200 million on social networking platform Facebook, Microsoft has finally released a Facebook application for the Windows Mobile. The mobile users can now use the Application easily from their mobile.
Adding a Facebook application on the WM platform was one of the announcements that Microsoft made at the CTIA ‘09.

Google certainly isn’t partial towards the Android and iPhone. And here comes the Windows Mobile apps from the BIG G. Recently Yahoo announced its own set of applications for Mobile devices and Google has responded with apps for WinMo.
Google mobile app promises faster search on Windows Faster. The mobile app adds to the today screen on your Windows Mobile and also provides search suggestions for quick search. Also on offer is Maps, Calendar, Docs, google apps custom domain can also be configures easily.
