Verizon has kicked off a campaign promoting the upcoming smartphone ‘Droid’. Expected to go on sale sometime in November, the Droid is Verizon’s response to the Apple iPhone. The advertising campaign ‘Droid Does’ has been targeting the iPhone drawbacks aggressively on the web aswell as television. And to fuel the fire we have a series of leaks by BGR, that shows off the Android OS 2.0 and the Motorola Sholes that we saw earlier. While the Motorola Sholes / Shules we saw earlier was looked neat and something that would prompt us to make a shift to Motorola again, here comes Morrison’s specsheet and a Oct 21 release date. Morisson is said to be the first Android phone by Motorola which won’t be too expensive. Here is the specs if you really wanted (the looks and shape was enough to scare me off).

After tones of rumors about Motorola’s upcoming lineup powered by Android OS,here is something concrete and worth a look. The Sholes appears to be a strong full touchscreen with a sliding QWERTY. Reports suggest that this would land sometime in October and support both CDMA and EVDO Rev A. Here are the rumored specs:
Sholes is surely the best we have seen amongst the recently leaked Motorola phones. Hope it saves the day for Moto’s sinking ship.
