Just last week Steve Jobs had recently acknowledged undergoing treatment for some hormone imbalance that has lead to extensive weight loss for him in 2008. While he was still expected to be at Apple, Steve today revealed in a communication to Apple employees that he would be taking a medical leave until June end.
“During the past week I have learned that my health-related issues are more complex than I originally thought”

Every now and then I come across youngsters who are confused and worried about their career (hey,
don’t mistake me for a 40 yeard). And almost always I end up telling them Don’t Worry, things would be just fine. But whenever I said that, I knew its a lie. Deep inside me, I share the same feelings; the same fear as I look into the mirror. However today I came across a very inspirational video of ‘Apple CEO Steve Jobs’, which motivates me to keep doing what I Like. Hope the
OGz find it useful … Video

FSJ: Fake Steve Jobs, Yes we haven’t been tracking this one on OnlyGeek but i thought its good enough to post the climax.
For the last 14 months, high-tech insiders have been eating up the work of an anonymous blogger who assumed the persona of Steven P. Jobs, Apple’s chief executive and one of the world’s most famous businessmen.
The acerbic postings of Fake Steve, as he is known, have attracted a plugged-in readership both the real Mr. Jobs and Bill Gates have acknowledged reading the blog (http://www.fakesteve.blogspot.com). At the same time, Fake Steve had evaded the best efforts of Silicon Valley’s gossips to discover his real identity.
So whos he really?
Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes magazine who lives near Boston, has been quietly enjoying the attention.
I am stunned that it’s taken this long, said Mr. Lyons, 46, when a reporter interrupted his vacation in Maine on Sunday to ask him about Fake Steve. I have not been that good at keeping it a secret. I have been sort of waiting for this call for months.?
Mr. Lyons receives around 50 e-mail messages a day through the blog, many with ideas for posts, and says the site had 700,000 visitors last month. Recently someone claiming to be Mr. Jobs’s daughter, Lisa, wrote to tell him,You don’t sound at all like my father, but your blog is hilarious.
FSJ once replied to a question on his succession plans (Who takes over when you leave?)
“The truth is, I am not human — I am a man-god, son of Zeus (in photo above; please note resemblance), born to mortal woman but fathered by the ruler of the gods, lord of thunder. If I do leave, Apple shuts down. Immediately. No guff. It’s in my contract.”
So go ahead and check out FSJ at http://www.fakesteve.blogspot.com

According to Reuters, Apple has confirmed that its iPhone multimedia device will hit the U.S. market on June 29, available exclusively through AT&T Inc.
The touch-screen phone will be priced from $500-$600. The iPhone does not have a keypad, instead sports a touch-sensitive screen. The device was unveiled to a packed audience in early January this year by Steve Jobs, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer. Jobs had said the iPhone would appear in stores in June, but had given no specific date at the time.
During the keynote, Jobs described the iPhone as ‘revolutionary’ and demonstrated its features, including Multi-Touch, a touch screen display system that can differentiate between and react to simultaneous touch from two fingers.
The iPhone features a 3.5-inch display, 2-megapixel camera, headset and audio jacks, and an iPod dock. The first iPhone model would be quad-band GSM, meaning it would work in almost every major country in the world. And data transmission would be supported by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and EDGE.
