We absolutely love the natural wooden treatment given to any gadget and Flashsticks (UK) makes some really cool and natural wooden pen drives. Each of these USB flash drives are made from locally hardwood wood from a renewable source. The wood is collected from the woods of Berkshire in England. This is fallen wood from the previous winter’s storms. Thus no two of these drives are similar.
So if you are fascinated by the combination of silicon chips and nature or simply want to stand out with a unique gadget connecting your notebook, FlashStick is just what you need. Fully compatible with USB 2.0 and a unique design is enough to attract me.
Currently available in a 2GB version (upgrades coming soon), this wooden Flashstick would cost you £15. And if you are lucky you can take home one of these FREE. Flashticks UK is giving away one of these cool wooden drives to a random commenter on this post. So let us know in comments below why you want this! (contest closes in 72 hours)

Corsair has launched what it claims to be the world’s fastest USB flashdrive. The Flash Voyager GT, as it is called, is a 128GB high capacity USB flash drive.
Flash Voyager GT can read at the top speed of 32Mbps and has the writing speed of upto 25.6Mbps which is almost the speed limit of the USB 2.0 bus. Even with the high data holding capacity, the flash drive is 75% smaller than regular flashdrives of less than half the capacity.
“High performance is a key requirement for super-high capacity flash drives, such as the 128GB Voyager GT, simply because it is able to store such a large volume of data,”says John Beekley, VP of Applications at Corsair. “The 128GB Voyager GT is nearly twice as fast as other high-capacity flash drives, which means less time waiting for your music, video, or office files to copy to and from the drive.”
The other flashdrives of 128GB capacity available in the market are Kingston’s DataTraveler and DiscGo. The Flash Voyager GT costs $400. Too much? well its currently the cheapest 128GB flashdrive available

I just hate losing those flash drives and buying a new one every month. I always wished to have a flash drive that could be carried in the wallet but still big enough not to be misplaced easily. Now here is something that would answer these concerns.
The ‘credit-card-thin’ wallet flash drive has been built by company named TopTech Products. This flash drive can be easily carried in your wallet as a normal plastic card. The dimensions are 3.4-inches x 2.1-inches x 0.11-inches.
The flash drive can store upto 4Gb of data and has support for USB 2.0 on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms. Availabe in five colours – clear, gray, orange, red and blue. At $24.99 I feel its good enough.

Though Kingston takes the title of being the first one to announce a 128GB pendrive, catching up within days is the DiskGO’s 128 GB offering. A product of EDGE Tech Corp this 128GB flash drive retails for $389.5, thats more than $150 lesser than Kingston’s price tag of $546. DiskGO will start shipping in a weeks time by June 31st!
While the Kingston DT200 series has a more geeky look this one is an aluminum case (I certainly won’t mind that if I save $150
).

You always wish for a pill that could let you remember things and increase your memory so that you never fail in exams. Well, here is a pill that can store some memory for you but can’t help you pass exams without cheating.
The pill is a USB drive with an attached keychain. The Pill USB Drive is only a 64 Mb drive. The keychain being attached to the cap leaves you with a risk of the USB part falling off with all your 64MB worth of data. Not the smartest design, but a gizmo nevertheless.
Its available through Giftlab @ $18.
