Researchers at the University of Toledo are tackling a unique and probably the first case of Sleep e-mailing. Sleep walking is something we have seen (atleast in movies), sleep talking is something my house-mates have witnessed (yes, I suffer from that); but sleep e-mailing takes it to a different level. Specially with the case being so weird!!
The patient in question is a 44 yr old woman who gets up approx 2 hours after going to bed, switches on the PC, logs in to the internet (manages to remember and enter the password) and sends 3 emails. And the next morning she doesn’t remember sending those messages.

If you are one of those who thought that Stray Dogs were a menace, think again! The BSPCA (Bombay society for Prevention of cruelty to Animals) plans to convince BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) to allow these dogs to be trained to sniff bombs/RDX and help combat terrorism.

This is what I call practical thinking! This Door mat alarm clock will make sure that you get up on time. Apparently you need to step on the mat with both legs to shut down the annoying alarm. So this ensures that you will atleast get out of the bed for once. A much needed gadget for me atleast. Hope it sees the material world soon

Not thats weird, Apparently motorola doesn’t want its Ultra-Luxurious handset Aura to retail on eBay! Reports suggest that Mototorla might ask Aura buyers to sign a contract that the handset will never appear on eBay. So much to maintain exclusivity? Well I would say, concentrate your efforts on better products instead!

Nort sure on how the managed this, but its kewl! Not for sale commercially, this is a custom made flash drive for corporate gifting. A product of CNK Promotions, this unique pendrive is certainly something I would like to pocket.
With flash drives getting as common as a pencil, it certainly takes a crazy beerhead to get something unique. Cheers

Imagine a PenPhone, not too difficult to visualize? Then consider a Pen Phone with a touchscreen, Still easy? Then imagine a Pen phone with a rollable touch screen! If this concept phone that we are looking at is to be believed, it would even feature a camera and off course it works as a normal pen as well. Also on offer is a mini bluetooth headset to make the phone part of the ‘concept’ easier.

Click image to enlargeRecently a friend of mine started to receive weird calls on his office number for Call Girls. At first we thought that someone is playing a prank, but as the number of calls started to increase we decided to investigate. So we held up a caller and inquired where he got the number from. Based on what the callers told us they got the phone number while searching GOOGLE! By this time we were sure that someone has played mischief. So while tracing the keywords given by one of the caller we managed to get the source.
Click image to enlargeThis person had actually placed an Ad on a classifieds site “Required: Girl candidate As office assistant …”, the listing also mentioned his office phone no for contact. Now it so happened that Google picked up a page from this classifieds site for the keywords “call girl mumbai”, and unfortunately the snippet on the Goolge search page showed his numbers (see screenshots). Though the page on the classifieds site is unavailable, anyone who searched for call girl mumbai got his number from the google search page snippet itself!
Weird for sure, but then it happends on the internet. Carefull everyone!
