We have kept you updated with plenty of rumors about Sony Ericsson’s Xperia 2 and Xperia 3. Unexpectedly, the Xperia3 has shown up for a pre-order on Expansis – a UK based online gadget retailer. Popularly known as the Rachel till now, the Xperia 3 has been put for pre-order by the website with detailed specifications.
- 8Mp camera with 8x digital zoom, smile shutter, image stabilization and face detection
- LED flash
- 4″ touchscreen with 800×400 resolution
- Quad-band, 3G
- WiFi
- USB and Bluetooth connectivity
- microSDHC support
- 3.5mm audio jack

Xperia 3 is the first Android handset from Sony Ericsson. The Xperia 2 would be running on the Windows Mobile platform as that of the first Xperia. No news on the date of availability and pricing. No official announcement from SE.

Sony Ericsoon Xperia X2 has leaked out quite clearly over the past few weeks. A bigger device with similar structure as the X1 is certain. The device has been spotted in 2 colours viz. black and silver.
However it seems that SE is all set to make the Xperia X2 official in a event tomorrow (17th June) in Singapore. Let see what shows up under the hood here …

Xperia 1 has not been the best of devices and Windows Mobile certainly hasn’t helped Sony Ericsson do anything spectacular. Our friend @Farrhad using a Xperia X1 appears extremely frustrated with the slow and sticky OS. A leaked picture of the upcoming Xperia 2 has leaked online.
We already know that HTC is no longer building the Xperia series for SE, however the Xperia X2 design looks pretty similar to Xperia 1. The LCD is visibly bigger though (I guess this would be a capacitive one). Hope WM 6.5 comes in with some life for Sony Ericsson (yes this will run on Windows Mobile, the buttons on the leaked image confirms that), though I anxiously await the Android 2.0 powered SE smartphone.
