Verizon Wireless launches the sleek Nokia 2705 Shade
October 2nd, 2009 by Kunal

Nokia and Verizon Wireless have launched a brand new flip phone with a sleek and stylish body. Dubbed the Nokia 2705 Shade, the phone is the smallest available through Verizon and still has a sizable display.
The Nokia 2705 will be available with a 1.3 megapixel camera. The phone will also come embedded with the VZ NavigatorSM. This software will allow its users to access more than 15 million points of interest. Other connectivity options included are Bluetooth and MicroUSB 2.0. The phone has an internal memory of 62MB, but without any room for expandable memory.
The specifications of the phone makes it a considerably low-end phone made by Nokia in recent times, but it also has a matching price tag.
The Nokia 2705 Shade will be available at Verizon Wireless’ official website from Oct. 6, 2009, for US$29.99 with a two year agreement. Nokia is also going to offer interchangeable Xpress-on covers for this handset. The covers will be available in Red, Blue and Purple colour for a price of US$19.99 each.
