Will Microsoft launch its own Smartphone?
February 6th, 2009 by Annkur

Rumors are going around that Microsoft is actively working on its own mobile device. While we can be certain that if at all they come up with a Mobile it would be running Windows Mobile OS; the question is after seeing how well Zune did are they still believing that they can make a smartphones (hardware)?
I would believe that this is very much possible and chances of Microsoft getting it right are good (comeon havn’t you seen the Xbox?). A smartphone from Microsoft itself would mean good bonding of hardware and software. The mobile market is growing and all the silicon valley giants are focussed in this space. Don’t be surprise if you see this becoming official any time soon!
Update: Report denied by Microsoft!
