Well, looks like ThinkGeek is concerned. And they have come up with this amazing USB Cellphone booster. Just plug it in your laptop’s USB port and place the antenna anywhere in a range of 15 feet. The antenna will boost the signals by 2-3 bars in all the cellphones within 5ft of range. The antenna takes its power from the USB port, so no need for charging and problems of low battery and other issues. For $99.99 you need atleast one bar of signal on your cell phone.
ThinkGeek believes that you cant boost something out of nothing.
