After all the false alarms of delays and rumors (coupled with wishes) about the launch date, it seems that we have some concrete details on the Samsung Galaxy S2. The device seems to be ready to hit UK in a weeks time with UK retailer Phones4u listing the shipping date as 27th April. At the same time the official Samsung timeline reads 1st May.
The SGS2 is a super Andorid device, powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, runs Android 2.3, sports a 4.27″ screen and is capable of shooting movies in Full HD. Throw in NFC, an 8GB card and ‘Super Amoled plus’ love and there is little doubt that this is the most anticipated Android phone this year.
The Galaxy series does have good momentum, with Galaxy S being one of the most successful Android phones last year. Will it live up to the expectations?
