Galaxy Nexus India Registration Page Goes Live

When Google and Samsung officially revealed the Galaxy Nexus a few days ago, there was no reference to an India specific launch. Going by the previous experiences we have had with Nexus devices most of us thought this one too would make a delayed entry in this market (The first phone, The Nexus One, didn’t even officially make it to India). The Nexus S was delayed, went down the price ladder dramatically and isn’t available any longer.

That however seems to be changing with the latest iteration of the Nexus line up, the Galaxy Nexus.

Eagle eyed friends from over at BGR.in reports that the India specific site for the Nexus is up and running. The page accessible here is similar to the US page and you can sign up for updates related to the announcement of the handset by entering your email ID.

What is also heartening to see is that India is amongst the 20 countries listed in the drop down box where the phone is expected to go on sale first.

So, how many of you are saving up for this one? We don’t expect it to be be cheap but we wouldn’t certainly mind of Google and Samsung can give us all a pleasant surprise! For a detailed look at the Galaxy Nexus, you might want to check one of our older articles here.
