Micromax continues to flood the Indian market with more sub Rs.10,000 handsets. The latest to join the fray is the Canvas Fun A74 which has made a silent debut on a bunch of e-commerce websites a few days ago. The phone has been priced at Rs. 7,749 and is obviously targeted at the young smartphone enthusiast on a tight budget.
The Canvas A74 offers its buyers the power of a 1.3 Ghz processor mated to 512 MB of RAM. The phone runs Android 4.2 and comes with 4 GB of ROM and 1.25 GB of internal storage memory. The phone as expected, supports memory expansion using micro SD cards. The camera department is handled by a 5 megapixel camera at the rear with flash – as well as a secondary VGA front camera.
The display on this budget” phone measures 4.5 inches across and is capacitive in nature. Lurking under the hood is a Li-Polymer battery that is rated at 1500 mAh. Like all phones in its category, this one too is dual SIM in nature.
