Below is a video from Which? which gives us a sneak peek of the compatibility of its new remote with the 3DTV and its effects conforming its range even at wide angles. Also surprisingly it has a feature to convert 2D videos to 3D. Amazing I must say. In the video, being used are the newly launched Samsung’s 3D glasses using the Active Shutter Technology @ $150 (costly though). The Launch date is tentatively around April for now, no official commitment though. (more…)

Asus shows off some cool gadgets at CES (EEE Keyboard and AIRO)

January 16th, 2009

Asus should probably change its name to AsEE. The tag EEE seems to be a real winner for them. From the many geek toys that Asus displayed at CES, the Asus EEE Keyboard and AIRO concept (Fold/Unfold) impressed us the most.

The Asus EEE Keyboard is a PC that fits into a metal keyboard with a small touchscreen display on the right corner. Powered by the Intel Atom processor the EEE keyboard can also be plugged to a PC. It features Apple style individual inset keys and a wireless HDMI allowing TV connectivity.

The Vaio P photographed at CES – Update: Now Official!

January 7th, 2009

Atlast we have some concrete picture of the super Netbook from Sony. The Vaio Pocket or Vaio P whtever it is called. The picture is taken from a display screen and not hands-on, but we are hoping for more soon! The FCC previously leaked the dimensions at 9.5 x 4.5-inches and the other specs might well be as seen in the image before. Also clearly visible is a webcam (Motion Eye) next to the display. This one is surely power packed.

Update:

So Sony has made the Vaio P official atlast. Amazingly small and loaded with features. And just one major side-effect – THE PRICE. Just as we suspected early on Sony can’t keep the $$ under control. This one costing $900!

December 29th, 2008

I remember using a cheap wrist watch with calculator sometime in school (maybe 10yrs back); but then the whole world on wrist concept is some illusion that people are yet to get over. We are yet to see a good successful wrist phone and the ones that I personally saw were disastrous (Anyone remembers that Reliance Mobile?).

Here is another added to the list, The LG GD910 – Just another gadget we would see at CES 09.
