While they wait for Samsung Galaxy Tab (P9000) tablet is still to hit our desk, it seems that we are seeing a second Android tablet from Samsung. This one being a low end version without the Touchwiz UI and currently announced for KDDI in Japan. The i9100 features a 2MP camera, Bluetooth+Wifi, 4GB internal memory, a 7″ screen like the Tab (1024×600) and Android 2.2 Froyo OS. NTT Docomo has the Galaxy Tab in Japan, and this is perhaps the best KDDI could get.
The SMT-i9100 is expected to go on sale in February 2011, and we are unsure if this would undoubtedly be pushed by Samsung, seems more like a custom made tablet for KDDI and rest of the world need not bother.
