Wickedleak Wammy Desire 2 Tablet Launched, Gets Quad Core Exynos Processor

Wickedleak Inc has just announced the launch of its new “Wammy Desire 2” Quadcore 7 inch tablet in India. This Android 4.1 Jellybean toting device features the aforementioned 7 inch IPS capacitive display sporting a resolution of 1280*800 pixel.  The Wammy II is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 4412 Quad Core processor and gets 1 GB of RAM as well. The graphics is handled by a Mali 400 chip that should ensure decent 3D performance in games and apps.

Moving on to storage capacity, with 8 GB of internal storage and the option for adding micro SD cards of up to 32 GB being present, you have plenty of storage capacity at your disposal. When you do run out of storage you can always use the micro USB port to transfer data to your computer. That brings us to connectivity options on this device which apart from USB also includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB (full size) for attaching 3G dongles. The tablet does not support 3G networks or calling – hence the 3G dongle option might be quite useful.

The main camera on the Wammy Desire 2 is at the back and it is capable of taking photographs at 2 megapixels. There is also a VGA front camera. For your musical needs, the device also gets a 3.5mm jack so you can attach earphones of your choice and enjoy music.

The 3300 Mah battery under the hood should have enough juice to power this device for an entire day with nominal usage.  The Wammy Desire 2 is available in White color and weighs just 298 grams and has been launched at Rs.9999 in India. You can preorder the device from the Wickedleaks website here
