Windows Phone 7 Mango Laden Nokia 710 Coming Soon?

While it is almost certain that Nokia would be unveiling its first Windows Phone based devices at the upcoming Nokia World event next week, here comes a new hitherto unheard of model which could make its entry into Nokia’s WP7 fold soon.

Until now, we had confirmation regarding the Nokia SeaRay and the Sabre handsets – both running Windows Phone Mango. The new handsets leaked from Nokia’s own Developer page was pictured alongside the Symbian Belle laden Nokia 603 in a tech specs comparo.

Thanks to the leak we have juicy details regarding the kind of specs this one would sport. To start with, it would get a 1.4GHz single-core ARM Cortex A8 processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Now, this might be quite old by current standards – but Nokia is known to make judicious use of sparse resources on Symbian and MeeGo.

How well they would manage to do the same on Windows Phone is something we have to see for real. Other interesting bits include a 5-megapixel camera that sports a 28mm wide angle lens. The device would also do 720p videos at 30fps.

The device also has a fairly large 3.7 inch Clear Black Display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is expected to run the latest version of Windows Phone with the Mango update – like all other new Nokia Windows powered handsets.

It remains to be seen if Nokia does announce this one at Nokia World next week. What do you think?
