The LG Optimus Black is on display at CES 2011, and we had our few moments with it. The Optimus Black is a 4.0? touchscreen with an advanced gyroscope accelerometer that makes navigation beyond what we are used to (see the video). The Optimus Black runs Android and is a global release (Guess Optimus 2X is the equivalent for US) and features WiFi Direct (P2P file transfers using WiFi). The display on the Optimus Black is said to be 700 nits which is, the brightest out there (as per LG). The thickness is just 0.32 inches thick and weighs 3.84oz.
