LG’s flagship Android powered handset, the Tegra 2 powered Optimus 2X would finally arrive in the hands of consumers across Europe later this month. The company has made the news official about the device’s immediate arrival in these key markets.
The Optimus 2X is the world’s first Tegra 2 powered dual core handset that’s capable of recording videos at 1080p resolution. It gets an 8 megapixel camera at the rear, a 4 inch display. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo and would of course, be upgradeable to Gingerbread when an official update for it is released by LG in the months to come.
We had earlier reported about the handset going on sale in Korea not very long ago.
