Nokia 603 Leaked Before Nokia World?

It’s been quite some time since Nokia announced that it is moving away from Symbian. But, if we are to go by the company’s recent releases, that hardly seem to be happening. Just weeks after its new range of Symbian Belle powered phones made its debut, we now have news regarding yet another Symbian handset. We are talking about the Nokia 603 which has been making its presence felt in rumorsville of late.

You might have guessed by now that this handset belongs to the same range of the recently introduced Belle handsets – the 600, 700 and the 701. There will be minor differences in the specs here and there. We also wonder if this would be NFC enabled like the other three handsets.

Like all its cousins, the 603 would get a 1 GHz processor and a display with nHD (360*640) resolution. The screen size though is unknown. There would be a 5 megapixel “full focus” camera at the back. Connectivity options include all the standard fare; WLAN, Bluetooth and support for HSPA networks. The device is likely to sport a micro SIM slot as well.

Like we mentioned, the phone is likely to be introduced at Nokia world which is scheduled to take place on the 26th and 27th October.

Nokia is also likely to come up with its range of Windows Phone powered devices at this event. We would of course be covering the event in detail – so watch this space!
