iBall has launched its latest edition of the Slide tablet called the Slide 3G 7307, which is HSPA+3G enabled and allows upload download speeds of up to 7.2 MBps. More importantly, the tablet would allow you to make voice calls and exchange SMS’ as well.
Speaking of other important features on the tab, it has an OTG USB port which would allow you to connect and access pen drives. Moving onto the display, it is a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 800×480 which can play full HD videos at 1080p. The slide 3G has an internal memory of 8GB which is expandable up to 32 GB via external SD memory card.
The Slide 3G runs on stock Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and has a 1Ghz processor under the hood along with an 4400 mAh battery. Coming to connectivity options, it supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for file transfer. It has both a front and rear cameras.
The iBall Slide 3G weighs about 450 grams and is available for an MRP of Rs. 16,499 with a best buy price of approx. Rs. 15,499.
With the Micromax Funbook being available for Rs. 6499 and the Zync Tab at around the Rs. 7500 mark and both sporting ICS, we are not sure why would one go for the iBall Slide 3G at this point of time! May be for its call and SMS’ abilities which the other two lack?
