So finally the launch of Apple’s iPhone 4 has dawned upon India. Airtel has launched the iPhone 4 at the same price point as Aircel at Rs. 34,500 for 16GB and Rs. 40,900 for 32 GB models. Both the black and white iPhone’s are available with Airtel at the same prices.
Airtel has launched the iphone 4 with a similar moneyback plan that Aircel has also introduced. Airtel offers a moneyback plans of roughly around 50% of the amount of the phone in 24 months whereas Aircel does offer 100% moneyback plans as well (Must admit that those are quite expensive though).
The iPhone would be available at the Airtel retail stores. With the Samsung GalaxySII launch approaching fast it will be interesting to see which phone the masses opt for. A quick comparison between iPhone 4 and Samsung Galaxy SII might help.
