AOC India has expanded its LED HDTV line up further here in India by adding a brand new TV to its line-up earlier today. The newest product to bear the AOC brand name is the 23-inch Full HD 3D LED TV. As evident by the naming scheme, you will realise that this product gets a 23 inch LED panel capable of displaying full HD content with support for 3D. The product is claimed to be the smallest 3D capable HDTV in India.
AOC has also managed to rope in actress Soha Ali Khan as brand Ambassador for the TV which has been given a sub 20k price tag – thereby making the product quite affordable.
Key features of the TV include a direct 3D key on the remote to convert and watch 2D content with 3D effect so that one doesn’t have to purchase any additional hardware. The TV also claims to come with something AOC calls “Dream Surround Sound” that supposedly creates a virtual surround sound effect with emphasis on bass and dialogue delivery. While it would make sense to connect the TV to an external sound source, it is plausible that in the price segment that it retails, buyers might usually have a barebones sound set up and in all likelihood would use the TV’s in built sound capability.
Connectivity options include USB, HDMI & VGA which should suffice for most casual TV viewers out there. The AOC Full HD 3D LED Razor TV has been priced at Rs.19,990 and is available across stores in the country.
