Last week, after the launch of the Xtreme ll, Intex have launched the Aqua Y4. The device is priced at Rs. 4,190. The Intex device is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The device comes with a 4.5-inch, 480×854 pixels, FWVGA IPS display. The phone along with this is powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek, MT6572X, processor coupled with 512MB RAM.
The Aqua 4 surprisingly has a 4GB inbuilt memory which can further be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Aqua Y4 further sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. The secondary 2-megapixel camera accompanies it. The device let the phone function with the help of its ‘volume up and down’ key letting them click pictures.
Under the connectivity front, the Intex Aqua Y4 offers 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n along with Micro-USB and Bluetooth options. The device further is backed up with a 1700mAh battery measuring up to 136×67.5×8.7mm. The Aqua Y4 will be on sale in White, Black, Champagne and Silver. There are various applications already preloaded in the handset. These include Ask Me, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, Start, Intex Service and Opera Mini.
On the launch, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona stated that their company believes in revolutionising a feature rich experience for their customers. He further continued that their offers become a seamless mix of technology at the right price. According to him, the Aqua Y4 is the perfect example of designing devices keeping the consumer in mind.
