It comes with in built virus protection and the OS will be updated to the latest Chrome OS free of cost. There are options when it comes to processors — you can choose between a Celeron, Core i3 and Core i7. The device can be connected to the television or a monitor via the HDMI port. It can run a dual display setup via the HDMI and DisplayPort on the device but you might need adapters for monitors with older ports like VGA or DVI.
Google offers 100GB of free Google Drive space free for two years so all your data and files can be saved in the cloud beyond the 16GB SSD onboard. It comes with high performance 802.11 b/g/n dual-band wireless, four USB 3.0 ports for fast data transfer and an SD card reader for easily accessing stored photos and documents. A wireless keyboard and mouse are bundled with the Chromebox but if you want you can still plug in a wired keyboard /mouse.
The Asus Chromebox also supports up to 4K UHD playback, letting you enjoy the best quality content from the web. There are accessories like a webcam and other video-conferencing apparatus which are sold separately. Asus is also working on a Chromebox for enterprise which will be unvieled soon.
