It was just days ago that Nvidia announced the launch of its GeForce GTX 590 graphics cards. Just days after that, Asus has brought the cards based on this dual core GPU here in India. Asus packs in its new Voltage Tweak utility with the card using which they can overclock the GPU clock speed to up to 918MHz.
The GTX 590 is targeted at the enthusiast crowd looking forward to build the latest and the fastest gaming rigs around. The card boasts of 3GB of GDDR5 memory, 6 billion transistors and over 2200 individual components all packed into an 11 inch dual slot card. It can play most DX 11 games of today at eye popping resolutions of 2560×1600 and higher. It supports four separate displays using which gamers can span their gaming across 3 3D capable displays. The collective resolution in this set up would be 5760×1080!
The card has been priced at a cool Rs. 48,000 here in India. Add taxes to it and we are talking about a near 50K card here.
