Since everyone seems to be going mini these days with smaller iterations of their successful products, how could Asus be left behind? The Taiwanese company is all set to launch its new smartphone tablet combo early next week with the Padfone Mini. This product was seen going through FCC screening not long ago – but there were no pictures of the combo – yet.
That changed after @evleaks – the serial gadget photo leaker posted pictures of the Padfone Mini and its tablet sibling in all its glory. This is what it looks like.

We still do not have full details regarding the device – except for the fact the smartphone screen size has shrank from 5-inches on the original Padfone to 4.3 inches on this one. The tablet would be a 7 inch affair. The official launch of the device is slated to happen on Wednesday, December 11 at Taiwan. We expect to get clearer details then along with better pictures as well.
As for now there is no word on an official worldwide release time or the pricing.
