Moving on from Robowars, we ended up at the SAC Grounds at IIT Mumbai where two more exciting events were underway. The Aviator completion involves makers of RC aircraft competing against each other. Not one do you have to make an excellent aircraft, you should also be able to control it efficiently. The competition is themed on a mock rescue mission wherein the job of the aircraft is to drop supplies to stranded people near a flooded river. We did manage to get a video of one of the RC Planes doing a test run.

Lift-off is a extremely entertaining competition where students need to come up with innovative designs for their water powered rockets. These rockets should be made with easily available materials, and like we said before, should be powered by water and air. Students would also need to build their own launchers. The aim is to make the rocket travel as far as possible.
