RIM has finally decided its time they officially take covers of much rumored and leaked BlackBerry Bold successor. The latest version of the Bold is christened the 9900/9930 and for the first time, will offer BlackBerry users a touch as well as physical QWERTY experience in a candybar form factor. It was just a few days ago we had reported about the imminent arrival of this phone and here now, we have the official announcement.
Let’s now delve in to the features list on this one. The Bold 9900/9930 features a blazing fast 1.2GHz processor, a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen coupled with the legendary full QWERTY keyboard. The imaging bit is handled by a 5 megapixel camera. It is also capable of recording videos in 720p. The phone also gets 8GB of storage space
RIM has said that the new phone would be “carriers around the world” starting this summer. Makes me wonder if that world includes India as well!
