All you BlackBerry fanbois on the CDMA side of the telecom divide rejoice! RIM has launched its much talked about (but not sought after) flip phone, the BlackBerry Style 9670 here in India. Designed to run on the CDMA platform, this device features a twin displays with a 360 x 400 resolution internal one and a 240 x 320 pixel external display.
A five megapixel autofocus camera with flash should take care of your imaging worries. It can also capture videos in VGA resolution which I must say is quite decent. Even though it is a flip phone, it features a full QWERTY keypad and even the BlackBerry standard optical trackpad. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
The Style 9670 packs in 512 MB of internal memory and is augmented with an 8GB microSD card in the package. It runs BlackBerry OS 6.0, the latest version out there so you won’t feel left behind. This one will set you back by a cool Rs. 24,999 in India which we think is on the expensive side.
You can buy and use the phone on Reliance and Tata CDMA networks. Interested?
