AT&T has gone live with the Blackberry 9800 Torch on its site, and this one looks exciting. RIM is yet to go official with the device (the event is ongoing), but here are the meaty details that has come in a little early. The device features a 5MP camera with flash, a 3.2? touchscreen with pinch to zoom, 512MB RAM and a PC like a web browser as they claim.
Updates: This thing has GPS, 624Mhz processor, 4GB on board storage, does wireless syncing and comes at a price of $199 on a 2yr contract. Blackberry OS 6 is looking to attract developers, and we have the video demo here.
While the Palm Pre Plus with a similar design disappointed us, will the new web browsing powers of the Blackberry OS 6 impress? Guess we shall have to wait a little to find out!
