Mobile-Review is usually known for leaking unreleased Nokia handsets. This time though, we are seeing something quite different from the site. They have leaked images of what is said to be a successor to the Dell Adamo. This laptop which is likely to be officially announced in the next few weeks will first come in a 15.6-inch version followed by 14-inch and 17-inch versions later. Dell’s Adamo range of laptops was introduced back in January 2009 as an answer to Apple’s MacBook Air.
As for these new laptops, the first of the new models will sport Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5 and Core i7 processors and is expected to be priced under the $1,000 mark. The laptop however will not use the Adamo brand and would be called the XPS 15z instead. The 14 and 17 inch versions would be similarly called the XPS 14z and the XPS 17z respectively
It was back in January that Dell pulled the plug on its Adamo range of slim laptops. People who came to buy the then phased out laptops were asked to look for the XPS 15 and 17 inch laptops instead.
