Lets delve a bit into the tech specs of the Streak now.
The Streak, as mentioned earlier has a huge 5- inch display. Its arguably the biggest display you’d come across on an Android based mobile phone. Like the iPhone 4 and the Nokia N8, it has a scratch resistant Gorilla glass display. Under the hood, there is a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor with ample RAM (all of 512MB). A 5 megapixel camera takes of the imaging bit. Its aided by an LED flash for low light photography. There’s a front VGA camera as well that could be useful once 3G is more widespread here in India. Music buffs would be happy to see a 3.5mm audio jack on the device. The microSD card slots on the Streak can take cards of up to 32GB – which according to us is more than sufficient.
The Streak in its current form runs Android 1.6 and would get an update to Froyo by the end of this year. The launch of the Streak comes at a time when Samsung is about to launch its Galaxy Tab tablet in India. Unlike the Streak however, the Galaxy Tab already runs Froyo and is expected to be priced at around the Rs.40,000 mark. Another thing that both the Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak needs to be bothered about is the arrival of the Apple iPad in India. Apple is yet to officially bring the iPad to India.
The Dell Streak will set you back by a cool Rs. 35,000 here in India.

It is simply not affordable NOR a viable option for a Device which is Neither Phone or a Tablet COMPLETELY..
Though it is a great device, at 35K very few (read Fanboys) will buy it.
Bring it down to USD Equivalent of 500/- (i.e INR 23000/-) & U got yourselves a Winner!!
