Dell Venue is just new to the market it runs on Android version 2.2 froyo with 1 GHz processor and has an AMOLED touchscreen. Though this device is new it did not keep the Developers and Android enthusiasts from rooting the device. The method of rooting is not very difficult it uses the superoneclick root application.
You can root your Dell Venue by the method below:
- Download Dell Venue drivers from here: ftp://ftp.dell.com/Handheld/R291096.exe<secret form Dell
- Connect the device to the PC
- Downlaod R291096.exe from here: http://hotfile.com/dl/101259993/0d99cde/R291096.exe.html
- Install R291096.exe on your PC
- Download SuperOneclick Root from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682
- Install SuperOneClick, open it and then click on Root
Well this procedure works very less and is not a stable rooting procedure, please repeat the procedure if it does not work the first time.
