It seems Windows Phone Apps are getting updated (and getting better) with each passing day. Earlier, it was the much popular WhatsApp for Windows that received a much needed updated version and now it’s the turn of Evernote.
Evernote for Windows Phone has just been updated to version 3.0 and as expected, comes loaded with a bunch of new feature improvements. According to a blog post on Evernote’s blog the new additions include a simplified home screen and a much more compact tag list. The App gets a redesigned homescreen which according to Evernote gives users quick access to everything they need. Actions like new note creation, search and shortcuts are now just one click away.
Talking about shortcuts, they will let users jump quickly to any note, notebook or tag that you access frequently. The process of creating a shortcut too is simplified. All users need to do is to long press on any item to create a shortcut. For those of you who access Evernote across your various devices, the shortcuts would seamlessly sync across them all.
Apart from the above features, Evernote has also added the ability to create checkboxes. You can also group notebooks by “stacks” and pin live-tile shortcuts by long-pressing on tags. Evernote calls this a major update and has asked all Windows Phone users to update to this version and take a look at it themselves. Head here for downloading the app.
