Huge grain of salt alert! Facebook’s new Home UI has been leaked from a pre-release HTC First ROM and its yours for the taking if you have a phone with the maximum resolution of 1280×768 and can uninstall your original Facebook app. You can find the leaked .apk files over at MoDaCo and try it out yourself, though be warned! This is a pre-release version of the software and is likely to contain bugs that might fry your phone and turn it into a flesh hungry mega-tech monster. So try it at your own risk.
Also, Chat Heads don’t seem to be working at all, so you’ll probably have to wait till its official release for those. Though remember, the official release shall only be compatible with 5 devices, namely the HTC One, One X, One X+, the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy S4 initially, though as this release proves, support for further devices can’t be too far down the line.
Head over to this link to download the apk files. There are three files in the complete build; one for Facebook itself, one for the messenger app and the final one which is the UI layer itself. Finally, you do not need to be rooted for this!
