Spice mobiles seem to have this weird knack of launching phones with outrageous specs. They had a 12 mega pixel camera on sale long before the Satio or the Nokia N8 was even on the horizon. That brings us to the phone in contention today. We are talking about Spice’s latest addition to its portfolio – the M-67 3D. Notice the 3D moniker at the end? Well, it’s not just a moniker. This phone actually comes with what Spice calls a “auto stereoscopic” display. This display can apparently make things displayed on it”more real and physical”. It also boasts, of a being capable of viewing”3D videos” without those ugly glasses. (So what would you like to watch on this thing?) . The M-67 3D also boasts of a 3D image viewer. And it doesn’t end there. The phone also comes with a dedicated button that allows you to flick the phone from 2D mode to 3D and vice versa.
Now let us delve in to the device’s more phone like features. As expected, the M-67 3D is a dual SIM handset. The back is adorned with a 2 mega pixel camera that should be enough to capture pictures decent enough to be seen on a 3D display. The rest of the features are the standard fare. It gets expandable memory and can take microsD cards of up to 16 GB.
An interesting feature of the device is its remote wipe functionality using which users can wipe your phone off all your personal data on it should you lose the phone. You can choose to turn your phone off or remote all data on it or specific things on it – all remotely. We are yet to be told how this actually works. But heck, all this for Rs.4299 (USD 92) is full value for your hard earned money, no?
