Samsung started rolling out the Gingerbread update long back in Europe but, the update was stopped and removed by Google for some reason. Now just a few weeks back the official Gingerbread again showed up in Kies. Now all the Galaxy S users in India have good news, Samsung has started updating the Galaxy S to Gingerbread (Android 2.3) starting today for all the users in India through Kies.
If you own the Samsung Galaxy S and want to update your device to Android 2.3 then you just need to update Kies to the latest version and follow the prompts! It’s as simple as that.
