While my good friend and our editor saheb wants a Chrome OS tablet, its clear in his own words that Google can’t deliver it anytime sooner than 2011. So what, hasn’t Android taken over the mobile market and leaped ahead of the iPhone? Why do you think that iPad would be spared, editor saheb?
Digitimes states it clear – come Q4 2010, you shall see the biggest release of Android aka Gingerbread and this would bring in all the official support from Google you wanted for an Android tablet. The Froyo already beats the iPad in some benchmarks and powered by the Android OS 3.0 – Motorola + Verizon + Google would kick the hell out of the tablet market. Cuper-competitors beware!
