Google’s Cloud Music Service To Be Unveiled At IO Conference

Google MusicRumor: Google is preparing to launch a cloud music service at its I/O Developer Conference at San Francisco. This music service will allow users to upload up to 20,000 songs onto Google servers. Users can access this songs from web connected devices.

It sounds interesting but there is a twist in tail this service will not work on iOS devices. This is because Google has hobbled it by requiring support for Flash Player. So the iOS devices require an alternate service like Amazon’s cloud player.

Google already has a service, Google music search which provides music from other sources like saavan.com or in.com and with its new service, cloud music it gives users a new way to store and access music.

But Like Amazon, Google hasn’t secured licensing deal with other music labels. Since it do not have license, Google appeared to have built the services to carefully avoid violating any copyrights.

Update: This is official, more on it shortly!
