Rooting the Galaxy Tab:
Requirements:
- Download KIES from here
- Download SuperOneclick from here
Procedure:
- Connect Galaxy Tab to the computer and sync with KIES once, with debugging mode disabled
- Disconnect from Computer
- Enable debugging mode (Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging)
- Connect again to PC but click on home button so that you do not connect to KIES this time
- Launch the SuperOneClick.exe program which you have downloaded above
- Click on root and wait for some time
- That’s it your tab has root access now!
Its still not possible to unroot the Tab using this application you have to flash the original firmware from Xda to unroot!
