HTC has launched a revamped version of the HTC Desire 816G smartphone in India. This new revised version holds impressive features making it a lucrative buy.
The most prominent feature packed in HTC Desire 816G is its 1.7GHz octa-core processor, which was earlier 1.3GHz quad-core MT6582 processor. The exact processor build is unspecified yet. The processor is equipped with 1GB of RAM. All other specifications remain the same. The previous version worked on Android KitKat 4.4.2 but there is no details on what Android version will the HTC Desire 816G hold.
This dual-SIM enabled device features a 5.5-inch screen providing HD(720*1280 pixels) resolution. Internal storage capacity reads out to be 16GB. Storage capacity can be expanded up to 32GB. Desire 816G features a 13MP rear camera with a BSI sensor and a flash. Secondary camera is on 5MP type. HTC touts about the dual-frontal speakers with BoomSound along with HTC’s BlinkFeed home page feature for all the social network updates.
Connectivity features include 3G support, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0 and GPS. Desire 816G also sports accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass, etc. making it sufficiently equipped for the gaming geeks. It is run by a 2600mAh Li-Ion battery. HTC claims the battery to offer 10 hours of talk time life on 3G and 460 hours of standby time.
When compared to other devices in the same price range, like the Xiaomi Mi4, this revised model HTC Desire 816G offers equally impressive features. With Desire 816G offering good features priced at INR 19,990, it is all set to lure users.
