A few days ago, we had reported that HTC’s Incredible S is on the verge of being launched here in India. Now we have news regarding HTC’s Desire S, another smartphone that was announced along with the Incredible S at the MWC back in February. The Desire S is a successor to the famous HTC Desire launched last year. That phone is still on sale here for about 20k. The updated version in the form of the Desire S will set you back by Rs. 25,490.
What you get for those extra 5k is a better Snapdragon processor as well as faster GPU and more RAM. Things are better on the OS scheme of things too with the Desire S running Android 2.3. That said, the original Desire is slated to get an official Android 2.3 port very soon. Unlike the Desire, this one also adds in a front video call camera. The screen size and resolution remain the same with the Desire S sticking to the tried and tested 3.7 inch, 480*800 pixel display. It is powered by a 1450 mAH battery that should offer decent talk and back up time.
So, you planning to get one?
