After HTC reported losses for the first time in the last quarter of 2011. They revisited their strategy and came up with a new one where in they would be concentrating on quality and not quantity by releasing fewer handsets in the year 2012.
HTC Ville, which has been in the rumor mills for quite a while seems is one of the select devices which will make it to the market this year. For when it might make it will be more clear at the MWC this month.
The rumored specs of the HTC Ville include a 4.3 inch qHD display, Android 4.0 with Sense 4.0, 8MP rear camera and a VGA camera in the front, 1.5 GHZ dual core process with 1GB RAM.
The Sense UI on the HTC is considered to be one of the best customizations on Android, and it will be interesting to see how the Sense 4.0 works on Ice Cream Sandwich. Besides the phone has also managed to be pretty slim at 8mm which is second only to Moto Droid’s Razr at 7.1mm in terms of thickness.
Interestingly the phone in the video looks pretty similar to the earlier HTC smartphones but features soft touch buttons on the front, which might be a result of Android 4.0.
Time to go ahead and check out the HTC Ville in action in the video below:
