It’s literally raining affordable tablets here in India these days. The latest entrant to the already crowded affordable tablets space is the iBall Slide 6309i tablet. Featuring a 7 inch display and tipping the scales at a healthy sounding 310 grams, this tablet is quite pocketable (albeit you would some nice, big pockets) as well.
The display is capacitive in nature and boasts of a resolution of 1024*600 pixels. A 2.0 megapixel camera adorns the back and is intended for casual photography. There is a secondary video calling camera as well which you can use or your video chatting exploits. Under the hood, powering the 6309i is a 1.2 Ghz ARM Cortex A9 Processor. It gets 1 GB of DDR 3 RAM which is an awesome addition at its price range. If all this wasn’t enough, the device comes loaded with the latest version of Android – the version 4.1 Jelly Bean. There is 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by using micro SD cards of up to 32 GB in size.
The tablet supports a bunch of connectivity features that include Wifi ( 802.11 bgn) , a USB port that can be used to connect a 3G dongle, Bluetooth and Micro USB OTG Port. There is also an HDMI out port that would allow users to watch content stored inside the tablet – on a large screen.
The best part about the iBall Slide 6390i is perhaps its pricing. Spice seems to be very aggressive on this front and has priced the 6390i at a very competitive Rs. 5199. We would love to take this one for a test drive before deciding whether or not to recommend this one for you.
