Indian mobile company, Intex Technologies has added two new phones to its existing Aqua series of Android smartphones. Intex unveiled the Aqua HD and Aqua i4 today. Earlier in the month Intex had launched the Aqua i7 with Full HD display.
Intex Aqua HD
The Intex Aqua HD is 7.9 mm thick and houses a 1.2 GHz quad-core processer and 1 GB or RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) and can be updated OTA when an update is available. Adoring its front is a 4.7 inch HD (1280 x 720 resolution) IPS display with OGS (One Glass Solution). The rear of the phone is equipped with a 13.0 megapixel camera with LED flash while the front carries a 5.0 megapixel to support video chats. This HD smartphone gets its juice from the 1800 mAh battery.
It has 4 GB of internal storage with support for microSD card upto 32 GB. It is also pre-loaded with apps like NQ Mobile Security, Locate, Maps, Messenger, etc. Not only this, Intex has some goodies to give away to the customers who buy this device; a flip cover, screen guard, 5 GB space on Intex Cloud, limited edition pen and key chain set personally signed by Farhan Akhtar.
It also sports features like ‘Lookaway’; it ensures he device pauses content so that you don’t miss out any moment while watching a video. It also has a feature called ‘My Screen’ which is meant for multitasking. These features sound quite like the ones that already are in Galaxy S4.

This device seems like a massively downgraded Aqua i7 but yet remains in contention to fight the likes of Canvas 4 and Xolo Q1000S. When compared to the latter two phones mentioned; this device loses out on internal memory and battery while remaining nearly equal on all other features.
Intex Aqua i4
The Intex Aqua i4 was announced in India along with Cloud Y5 about a month ago. Intex claims this phone is ergonomically designed with a 5 inch display FWVGA resolution. It runs on 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor. It holds a 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. The device gets its juice from the 2000 mAh battery and supports microSD card up to 32 GB.
Although on searching the website, we did manage to find the product without any photo of the device nor further specifications. There are only marginal details added to the Aqua i4 that has been doled out.
