Earlier today, Intex announced its newest entry-level smartphone named Aqua Lions T1 Lite. It is a stripped-down version the Aqua Lions T1 smartphone that was unveiled in November 2017.
Intel Aqua Lions T1 Lite Specifications and Features
Like its larger sibling, the Aqua Lions T1 Lite features a polycarbonate chassis that comes in color choices such as Royal Blue, Steel Grey and Champagne. Its dimensions are 144 x 73.5 x 10.2 mm and it weighs 156 grams. It features a 5-inch display that supports HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The screen is placed under a layer of 2.5D curved glass.
A MediaTekchipset featuring a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz is present under the hood of the Aqua Lions T1. The SoC is supported by 1 GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of only 8 GB. For additional storage, the handset features a microSD card slot. It is pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Intex has not confirmed whether it will be rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Aqua Lions T1 Lite.
Intex has included couple of handy features inside the smartphone. LFTY is a one-stop access to videos, latest news, new apps and wallpapers. DataBack makes it possible to save up to 500 MB of data every month. Through Prime Video, users can enjoy viewing famous movies and TV shows across different languages.
When it comes to connectivity, the Aqua Lions T1 Lit offers usual features like VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB, 3.5mm headphone jack and GPS. It is fitted with an LED enabled rear-mounted camera of 5-megapixel. The frontside of the phone features 2-megapixel selfie camera that is coupled with a LED flash. The 2,200mAh battery of the phone promises a talk time of around six hours and a standby time of nearly 10 days.
The Aqua Lions T1 Lite costs Rs. 500 less than its elder sibling. At Rs. 4,999, the Aqua Lions T1 offers a 5.2-inch HD display, Spreadtrum chipset, LED enabled 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie camera, 1 GB RAM, Android Nougat and 2,700mAh battery.
